need help. switching from clarinet to euphonium?
I’ve been playing the clarinet for going on 8 years, and I’ve recently gotten a spot on the field of my high school marching band that requires me to take up the euphonium. I need tips to be able to learn my music in about 4 weeks. i’m very talented when it comes to music so time is not an issue. I also need a fingering chart for 3-valve euph. thanks in advance for your help.
I did this exact same thing in HS… went from Clarinet to Bass Clarinet to Baritone/Euphonium – and finally – Trombone. Had no problem once I learned the brass embouchure . You can find fingering charts online just Google “baritone horn fingering charts” – lots of .PDFs out there.
