Which trombone should I get….or keep?

Well, I have been making payments on my jupiter trombone. Nothing fancy on it, just a regular tenor trombone. However, I really want a bach stradivarius. It has an F trigger attachment and it is not made out of cheap metal. I do not want to hurt my moms feelings because she works very hard to make those payments. How do I tell her that my trombone Isn’t as good as the other one?

Convince your mom that you have been advancing at a more rapid rate than your old trombone.You may wish to show her my response.
There is a point where the usefulness of an item demands a buy upward. A comparison would be that you are about to enter a race with a model T . Or that you are going to qualify for the PGA with junior clubs.
The Jupiter is a beginners instrument and a poor one at that . If you wish to compromise you could look at Yamaha or Getzen.
