Are there any musical instruments that can be played one-handed?

The character in my story has to break his arm, so it’s in a splint, and I’d rather not introduce a twin brother.

So far he plays water-glass marimba, in-line flute and bass, all homemade. (Homemade instruments are all that are available, but if there is something that he could play one handed, I could have him make one beforehand.)

For purposes of the discussion, assume no professional/ manufactured instruments are available.

He’s not trying to be a professional, but to entertain his family and friends. Assume a high degree of skill if necessary.

Is there anything he can play that won’t sound contrived and unrealistic to my readers who have some musical experience?

Thnaks for your help!
