Trombone Brands for an intermediate level player?

Hi. I’m looking to buy a new Trombone and I don’t even know where to start. My lessons teacher recommends that I buy a large bore horn, but doesn’t mind if I buy a non-trigger horn or a trigger horn. To be honest, I don’t care either. I’d say I’m an intermediate level player on Trombone. Can anyone offer any good Trombone Brands? What do you think of Bach, Edwards, or Conn? Yamaha Xeno? Also, my price range right now is around $1400. Thank you!

I’m in high school and I have a Bach 42g and I really like it. My lesson teacher, with over thirty years of playing professionally, also has a Bach. The bad thing is that mine cost around $1800-2000 so it might be just out of your price range but if your serious about it, I think you should get it for the long run. A friend of mine has had a yamaha for about two years but he’s already thinking about getting a better one like a getzen or edwards.
