Tenor Trombone Question: What is a good bass shank mouthpiece for the Conn 8H?

Been using my Bach 6.5 AL and it is not bad, but I heard about the non Bach horns requiring a “thin walled” shank for a better fit/air flow. Any truth to this? Was wondering about the Schilke’s but would like to hear some other suggestions. As for the year of my horn, probably made in the 70′s, which unfortunately is one of the newer ones (the really good ones were the older ones). Appreciate it.

I don’t think I would recommend Schilke because there mouthpeices are just sooo thick and it muffels all the brilliance in your tone.
I think I would try recommending Denis Wick London “Heritage” mouthpeices because the thinner metal all around keeps the brilliance in you tone.
But if your looking for something cheaper try.. Conn 3 mouthpeice.. or a King mouthpeice. the Conn and King mouthpeice should look the same but the King should look a bit smoother.
